Prices come from two sources: pub owners who verify their own prices through our owner portal (shown with a ✓ badge), and community reports from users who visited. If you spot a wrong price you can flag it directly in the app and we'll notify the pub owner.
You can filter pubs by sport shown, outdoor seating, music type, crowd type, and maximum price for specific drinks. Stack multiple filters together — for example, locals pub + sport showing + Guinness under £6. Only pubs matching every condition appear on the map.

We're still listening to pub owners about what would be most valuable. Early ideas include promoted placement in search results, the ability to post events and specials, and detailed analytics about how many people viewed your listing. Nothing is confirmed — if you have suggestions we'd love to hear them.

We currently work with pubs on a venue-by-venue basis regardless of who manages them. This gives us more reliable and relevant data per pub. There is scope to partner with larger pub groups in the future, but individual venue participation will always be available.
During our launch phase, reviews come from a mix of Barometer users and verified data collected from Google Reviews. Once the platform reaches scale, reviews will come solely from Barometer users who have visited your pub.
Yes. Users can follow their favourite pubs and receive updates and content from you directly. We are also building analytics tools so you can understand your customers' preferences — what they drink, what entertainment they enjoy, and how much they typically spend.
Nothing — for now. We are focused on building our user base before introducing any revenue model. As one of our first pub partners, there will be no cost to you for the foreseeable future. When we do introduce paid features, they will be optional extras — a subscription model giving you access to customer insights and wider marketing reach. You will always receive plenty of notice before anything changes.
We ask that you help promote Barometer to your customers at launch — a poster, a mention on your socials, or simply telling regulars about it. We also love working closely with our early pub partners to build features that are genuinely useful to you, so your feedback directly shapes the product.
