When you use Barometer, we collect your approximate location to show nearby pubs and events. If you create an account, we store your email address and username. Any ratings, prices, or reviews you submit are stored against your account.
Your location is used only to show relevant pubs and events — it is never stored permanently or shared with third parties. Your account data is used to attribute ratings and reviews to your profile. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS in the EU. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We use Supabase for database and authentication, and OpenStreetMap for pub location data. We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.
You can delete your account at any time from within the Barometer app under Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data. You can also request a copy of your data by emailing us.
Our website uses essential cookies to maintain your session when logged into the owner dashboard. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
